Three parties of us (7 people in total) stayed here on Thursday (May 30, 2019), Friday (May 31) and Saturday (June 1) occupying Campsites 12, 21 & 22. Forest, BLM and National Park budgets not scare them away! Bad official(s) aside, this is a gem along the Colorado River to be loved, shared and enjoyed with respect by everyone! The site is second to none for large groups and there are small individual sites near there too! … We should carefully screen "officials" to gain friends fo the environment to bolster the U.S. This type of behavior warrants a letter to our Congressman and Senators. Officials came by the camp, hands on their holsters too. The "official" clearly has a problem with women (I wish I was there). Ladies of our group were yelled at, threatened and treated with no respect. Our group is friendly, responsible, clean professionals with a love and respect for the outdoors. The "official" threatened us too claiming to his superiors we had 70+ persons in our group. We had exactly 37 adults as our group picture affirms. Our group of 50+ aged adults have camped at this group site for he last 30+ years with our children when they were young now as empty nesters. Ian Juul's report 5/30/19 was not an isolated problem.
